Born in Brownsville, Texas, she was a daughter of the late Ferdinand and Lenor Retault. She was preceded in death by her husband, Bill MacAnanny. She was a registered nurse.
She is survived by her children, Norma Lyons of New Church, Debbie Henderson of California, Susan Laplate of Hebron and Kelly Burkhead of New Church; a sister, Angela Retault Johnson of Michigan; a brother, Louis Retualt of Texas; 10 grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
A funeral service will be held Thursday at 2 p.m. at Berea United Methodist Church in New Church. The Rev. Louis Timmons will officiate.
Flowers will be accepted or donations may be made to Hospice of the Eastern Shore or Berea United Methodist Church.
