In March 18, 1921 Graceville newspaper, Obituary for George Ganley - was born 79 years ago at Longford Island, Ireland and was married in the old country to Marcella Nelly.  He came to this country during the Civil war and lived at various times in New York, Bloomington, MN, Bowbells, ND, Shunavon, Canada and Harbor Springs, Mich., at which latter place his death occurred on March 5th, of ailments incident to old age.  He is survived by four sons, Frank, William, George and Patrick, all of whom live in Canada, and two daughters, Helen, who lives in Portland, Oregon and Mrs. J. A. McDonnell of Graceville, MN.  His funeral was held here last Friday morning from Holy Rosary Church, Rev. Kennedy officiating.  (A card of thanks was also in the paper "to those who so kindly assisted us during the funeral of our father, the late George Ganley, we wish to express our most sincere thanks.  Mrs. J. A. McDonnell, William Ganley, Frank Ganley.")   Hope this is was you were looking for ! ! !

George ganly was born in carrickedmond parish on 1/9/1841 to parents JohnGanly and Margaret Duignan.  He married Marcella Nally also in Carrickedmond on 29/4/1862 and they had one daughter Margaret on 11/11/1862.

Frances Matilda Wilson

Mrs. Charles P. Clayton, maiden name Frances Matilda Willson, was born in New York City on June 18, 1842, and was married to C. P. Clayton on December 30, 1867 at Hartford, Conn., where they lived until 1880, when they moved to Taopi, Minn., and in 1900 came to Bowbells, where they since resided until the date of her death, December 5, 1905. Deceased leaves her husband and five children to mourn her loss, the children being Henry B. and Mrs. Ida Clayton of Taopi, Minn., Mrs. Florence Bryan, Mrs. Caribell Gille and Miss Harriet L. Clayton of Bowbells. She was laid to rest in the Bowbells Cemetery, Thursday, December 7th. Death resulted from an ailment with which deceased had been a great though patient sufferer for 35 years.
